At Rue Pinard, bottles aren’t bought for direct consumption — they’re acquired to mature, appreciate, and become part of a long-term portfolio. To protect that value, every wine is stored in bond under professional conditions until you decide to release it.
We keep pricing transparent. Unlike a retailer who folds everything into the shelf price, we separate the wine itself from the associated logistics. This means:
Market-driven pricing. You benefit directly from genuine exchange levels, not padded retail mark-ups.
Clear cost structure. Storage, handling, and international compliance are billed only when needed.
Portfolio tracking. Because costs and bottle values are separate, you can easily follow the performance of your collection over time.
For international clients, especially in markets like the United States, extra steps such as FDA notification, labeling, and import clearance may apply. These are handled at cost, ensuring you pay only what’s necessary.
In practice:
- Storage is available in major bonded hubs (London, Bordeaux, Belgium, Hong Kong).
- Consolidation is encouraged — you can hold multiple orders and ship them together later to optimise fees.
- The first 90 days of storage are complimentary.
