The Glendronach single malt from 1968 stands as a monumental expression, having matured for approximately 34 years in Sherry wood casks at the Glendronach distillery. This extraordinary whisky was bottled to commemorate the re-opening of the distillery on May 14, 2002, marking a significant moment in its history.

Specially selected from cask numbers 2640 and 2641, this deep-sherried vintage showcases the rich influence of Sherry wood on the whisky. Bottled at a natural strength of 48.7% ABV, it exudes the full character and complexity that only long maturation in quality casks can impart.

Now a rare find on the open market, this particular release is scarcely seen, and it's believed that only around 100 bottles were ever released. The limited availability adds to the allure of this expression, making it a highly sought-after and collectable piece for enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.

With its superb condition and ties to a significant moment in the distillery's history, this Glendronach 1968 vintage stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and legacy of one of Speyside's iconic distilleries. Each sip is an opportunity to experience the culmination of decades of maturation and the artistry of the whisky maker.
