Moët & Chandon Marc de Champagne is a distillate produced from the byproducts of Champagne production, specifically the grape skins, seeds, and stems left after pressing. This type of spirit, known as Marc (similar to Italian grappa), is made through distillation of these solids, called pomace. In the case of Marc de Champagne, it uses the leftover pomace from Champagne grapes, which are predominantly Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
